Central Library

History

Library and Information Centre is the heart of the academic institutions & research centers. Our Library has a comprehensive collection for BE and its allied subjects to meet the present and future information needs for the students and faculty. The Library has a total collection of 19300 Volumes & 4445 Titles in various disciplines. Our library has subscribed 53 National & 579 international online current journals for the benefit of student community and faculty. The Library has facility to access e-journals through IEEE-ASPP, Springer, ASME, Science Direct, McGraw-Hill, J-Gate & ASTM DL. The Library has a fully automated with use of I-Lib library software. Library is a knowledge center with academic activities, so, we made digital library with internet connection using 20 systems, it helps both students & faculty for projects and their research work. The total area of our library is 1080 sqm. We made separate reference reading room with for 162 persons seating capacity. Our library is kept open between 08 A.M - 08 P.M, including Sundays and general holidays. In addition, our library has “book bank scheme” for SC/ST Students sponsored by Government of Karnataka. The library has provided different services like Lending services, E-journals & E-books access, reference services, reprography services, SDI, current awareness services, digital scanning and other related services.
