ADMISSION PROCEDURE:

The candidate shall have passed the second year Pre University or XII standard or equivalent examinations held preceding the entrance test with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following subjects: - Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Biology and has secured not less than forty five percent (45%)of the aggregate marks in optional subjects with English as one of the language for admission to Engineering & Technology Courses.
Provided further that the minimum marks for the purpose of eligibility shall be forty percent (40%) of aggregate in optional subjects in case of candidates belonging to the **Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and other backward classes specified in the relevant Government order the purpose of reservation in respect of Engineering and Technology courses.

Please Note: ** the relaxation in academic eligibility is extended only to Karnataka candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Classes.

RULES:

Attendance Requirement

Each semester is considered as a unit and the candidate has to put up a minimum attendance of 85% in each subject.

Eligibility for Passing:

For a pass in Theory subject/drawing, a candidate shall secure a minimum of 35%, with aggregate of 40% inclusive of Internal Assessment marks.

Promotion:

A candidate is eligible for promotion from even semester to odd semester (i.e. to next academic year) provided, the candidate has not failed in more than 4 heads of passing of the immediately preceding two semesters and has passed in all subjects of all the still lower semester examinations. A practical or theory shall be treated as a head of passing.

Ragging:

We adhere to the supreme Court Order of Complete Prohibition of Ragging in the Campus.
